The safety of our guests and staff is our Number 1 priority at Skyward Adventures. That's why we go above and beyond in the construction, maintenance and management of our course.
We place an uncompromising priority on safety in the construction and maintenance of our zip lines; the integrity of our equipment; and the training of our guides. Our zip lines meet or exceed all accepted design and safety requirements.
Here are a few examples of the many safety precautions we take:
- Our course was designed and built by Abee, Inc., a highly experienced Zip Line Fabricator. They ensured only materials specific to zip line construction were used during the build. Furthermore, they designed and constructed the course to be compliant with all ACCT regulations
- All of our guides complete extensive ACCT derived training programs
- Full body harnesses and helmets are provided to each participant. These are the same harnesses used for industrial fall protection and are each rated to hold several thousand pounds. Each guest is personally fitted by our expert guides to ensure a proper, safe fit
- As part of our safety program, we conduct a daily inspection of all gear in use and aerial and ground elements
